You may have many questions about moving your care to LivingWell Health Center by HealthSpring. We have gathered the following questions and answers from our existing members and LivingWell Care Team to help you better understand what to expect during this change.

Q. What is LivingWell Health Center?
A.  LivingWell Health Center by HealthSpring is your new medical home for doctor visits, prescriptions, x-rays, and lab tests. You will continue to see your current doctor and have the opportunity to engage in activities centered on preserving and enhancing the quality of life for every HealthSpring Member of LivingWell.

Q. Why is my doctor going to see me at this new place instead of at his/her other office?
A. The doctor is seeing all of his/her HealthSpring patients at LivingWell because he/she wants to be able to spend more quality time with each of you to make sure you?re getting all of the immediate and preventative care you need, and have time to talk through any issues or concerns you may have ? at LivingWell Health Center by HealthSpring he/she will have the extra help and the extra time to do that.

Q. Will the doctors see patients on regular Medicare, other health plans, or HealthSpring?s commercial plans?
A. The LivingWell Health Center by HealthSpring is exclusively for our group patients who have HealthSpring Medicare Advantage.

Q. Why is it just for HealthSpring patients?
A. HealthSpring has partnered with your doctor to build a new office where they can spend more time with you and have more nurses available to answer your questions and follow up with once you are at home.

Q. What is this health center like?
A.  LivingWell Health Center will provide:

• Door-to-door transportation Complimentary healthy snacks and drinks

• Free long-distance phone calls

• Cooking classes / healthy eating classes / exercise classes

• Nurse educators working with your doctor to spend as much time with you as you need to discus whatever health issues you like

• Extra services at a one location, such as lab tests and x-rays specifically designed for Medicare Advantage patients with larger exam rooms, and heated/lower exam tables

Q. Will I be able to see my same doctor?
A. Yes and you will also have access to other doctors at LivingWell Health Center by HealthSpring if your doctor?s schedule is full that day. Your doctor?s care team and covering physicians also have complete, secure, and ready access to your medical record ? so they will be able to respond to your needs with an understanding of your current health.

Q. Will it cost more?
A. No everything is covered by your HealthSpring Medicare Advantage membership. All you will need to pay is your standard co-pay.

Q. How can it be free? How is LivingWell able to do this?
A.  Quality, preventative care actually costs less in the long-run. In an effort to allow for more time between you and your doctor, we designed LivingWell to provide as much preventative wellness and health care to you as possible.

Q. What if I don?t want to go there / what if I want to keep seeing my doctor at his/her current office?
A. You?your care, your quality of life?is the most important thing to us. We will do whatever is necessary to make sure you get the quality care you want and need, on your terms. We designed LivingWell Health Center by HealthSpring to help us make sure you could spend all the time you need with your doctor. If we can work together to find a way to make it work well for you, the best way for us to provide this level of care for you, is to see you at LivingWell Health Center by HealthSpring.
